On behalf of the participants, partners, volunteers, and organizers of the GMS Queen City Marathon, race director Shawn Weimer was very pleased to announce that the 2017 event was able to distribute more than $50,000 among more than 20 local community and charity groups.

The seven major charity partners of the 2017 GMS Queen City Marathon were the Leader-Post Raise-a-Reader Campaign, the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, the Regina Food Bank, KidSport Saskatchewan, the North Central Family Centre, the YWCA of Regina, and Special Olympics Saskatchewan.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible for the GMS Queen City Marathon to support more than 20 local community and charity groups.

Registration for the 18th annual GMS Queen City Marathon opens on February 1st. Race weekend for #QCM2018 is September 7th to 9th.
