IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL FIRST RESPONDERS RUN PARTICIPANTS.

RACE KIT PICK-UP

Pick up your race kit and t-shirt on Saturday, June 1st between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Canada Games Athletics Complex.

Enter at the south gate and look for the RunRegina tent.

IF YOU ARE SENDING SOMEONE TO PICK UP YOUR RACE KIT they will be asked for an authorization letter/email to verify that they are to pick up your kit.

Please be prepared to provide photo identification, if requested.

 

BIB NUMBER LOOKUP

Bib numbers are now online. CLICK HERE TO LOOK UP YOUR BIB NUMBER

Enter your name in the confirmation registration field to find your bib number.

To speed you through package pickup, please have your bib number available when you arrive.

 

ACCESS TO CANADA GAMES ATHLETIC COMPLEX

Race morning, June 2nd, the area around the Canada Games Athletics Complex will be limited to single lane traffic in a clockwise direction.

Please enter the area from Park Street and exit via McDonald Street.

Race volunteers will be on hand to help direct traffic into and out of the area.

There are other sports events being held at the complex on race morning, so plan to arrive early to avoid missing the race start.

PARKING

Very limited parking will be available in the Canada Games Athletics Complex parking lot.

Parking will be shared with softball, soccer, cricket, and other activities also going on in the area.

PARKING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD LEADING INTO OR OUT OF THE RACE SITE.

We encourage you to carpool or find alternative methods of transportation to the race site.

Limited parking is also available on the streets around the race site (please note that there is some construction in the area).

 

WASHROOMS

Ample indoor washrooms are available at the north end of the parking lot race morning.

There are no washrooms in the track area itself.

Washrooms will be located on the 15K course at approximately 4.5K, 6K, and 12.5K.

If needed, additional washrooms are located within Wascana Centre, close to the course.

 

WATER STATIONS

The 15K will have 6 water stations on course.

The 5K  will have 1 water station on course.

Only water will be provided.

All KM markers on the maps are approximate.

While the course is marked and volunteer marshals will be present at key locations, it is your responsibility to know the course.

 

SPECTATORS

Spectators are welcome to come watch you run race day.

Seating is available in the bleachers at the Canada Games Athletics Complex.

Please leave pets at home for race morning.

The best locations on course for spectators:

5K course - Candy Cane Park area (slightly east of the Saskatchewan Science Centre/Kramer IMAX Theatre).

15K course - Waterfowl Park Display Ponds area (just east of the Conexus Arts Centre).

 

DONATIONS

Thank you to everyone who added a donation for First Responder mental health initiatives during the registration process.

If you would still like to donate we will be collecting donations during package pickup on Saturday.

Donations will be passed on to OSI-CAN. OSI-CAN is dedicated to helping serving members and veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Allied Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and Community First Responders, which includes Municipal Police Services, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Protection Services, Emergency Communications Specialists (911 operators), all Public Safety Personnel, Hospital Trauma Personnel, and Corrections Officers.

 

VOLUNTEERS

We are still looking for a couple more volunteers for race day. 

If you have a few hours the morning of June 2nd to support our runners and walkers, we are looking for you.
